ASKED QUESTIONS:
1.
Where do we obtain the marriage license?
You
fill out the application for a marriage license at Hawaii State Department
of Health 1250 Punchbowl St. in Honolulu (open 8am to 4pm Mon. - Fri.)
Bride and Groom must appear in person. Bring a picture ID with a proof
of age (driver's license, passport etc.) and $60 in cash (subject to
change). Please bring your marriage license to the ceremony with you.
The license is valid for 30 days. You can obtain the license in the
morning and get married in the afternoon. It is easy to get married
in Paradise! Call (808) 586-4544 for more details or to download the
application form go to: http://www.hawaii.gov/health/vital-records/vital-records/marriage/index.html
2. What kind of ceremony do you conduct?
Our ceremony is more
spiritual for the couple's love and blessings in nature in English and
Hawaiian languages. Vows are not specifically denominational or religious.
Please review our vows at http://www.weddingbythesea-hawaii.com/vows.htm
It takes 15 minutes for a ceremony, and up to 45 minutes for a photo and video session.
3. We don't have a witness for the
ceremony.
Our
photographer will be your witness. A witness is required for your wedding
ceremony by Hawaii State Law.
4.
What is the best time to perform the ceremony?
1 hour before sunset. A camera captures gentle and romantic colors.
Day time is too hot for you and too bright for a camera. Hawaii is a
tropical island!
5. If we cancel the reservation,
will we get the money back?
If you
cancel the reservation 30 days prior to the scheduled wedding date,
we will refund your money- less $200 as cancellation and arrangement
fee. Exclusive packages may require a higher cancellation fee.
6. Do you arrange any other specific
packages?
Yes, please inquire. We are here to serve you and help you make a
commitment to the love you'll cherish forever in beautiful Hawaii.
Terms and Conditions:
1. $25 is charged
for a returned check.
2. If your ceremony
is delayed by 30 minutes or more for any reason on your part, an overtime
fee of $50.00 for each staff is assessed. Please consider weather and
traffic conditions and give ample time to be punctual.

all wedding ceremonies be performed by officiants, whether under the
